New Two-Face Image From the Dark Knight!

I just found this image of what Aaron Eckhart as Two-Face will look like on a blog- and boy, is it frightening! One thing though- in the 3rd trailer, you see Harvey lying in gasoline on the floor- why didn't all his hair burn off? and his clothes are still there- which means something else is going to happen to him? maybe he will have acid hurled in his face, afterall.

Aaron Eckhart is Harvey Dent

I hope that Christopher Nolan and Goyer decide to use Two-Face. I know that they are already using the Joker, but they did such a good job of using multiple villians in one movie, which is hard to do and Spider-Man 3/Batman and Robin can show you that.
If I was directing the movie, I would try to make Harvey Dent resemble his 'the Long Halloween' role- one that is slowly edging towards madness because of a Falcone case. I really liked this incarnation of him, and Aaron Eckhart better not turn into Tommy-Lee-Jones because if he does, then the whole plot of the Batman series could turn into another Joel Scumacher film.
Which is your favorite incarnation of Two-Face/Harvey Dent? I will look forward to your reply!

Absolute Batman

I had something like 300 dollars to spend- so I went on a visit to Midtown Comics, my local comic-store, and spent some money on graphic novels. I blew it on the Absolute Batman titles:

  1. Absolute Batman: the Long Halloween
  2. Absolute Batman: Hush
  3. Absolute Batman: Dark Knight
I must say that they are greatly presented and the colour reprints are amazing. The quality of the binding is amazing, so the books don't fall apart, and the stories are great. The chosen material that is provided as glimpses of 'behind-the-scenes' are fantastic as well. It has everything from scripts and proposals to sketches and pin-ups.
I highly reccommended these titles to anyone with the money to buy them (they're very expensive. I only got enough money through birthdays and some sales).

Heath Ledger's Joker

Have you seen the newest trailer for the Dark Knight? If not, you must, because it reveals more footage of the Joker, acted by Heath Ledger.
Unfortunatley, Heath Ledger's death has shocked us all. I'm afraid that this may bring the movie down, but what a role to play as his final haunting masterpiece.
the new Joker has some significant changes from the original Joker in both the comics and Jack Nicholsons Joker. It appears that the Joker has face paint instead of white skin, and his smile seems to have been carved onto his face. He also seems to have more messy hair and is not as styled as Nicholsons. He seems a whole lot more crazier, and I kind of like this more. I hope he is similiar to the Joker from the 'Arkham Asylum' graphic novel.
